In 2006, trying to locate a friend on a Saturday evening, a compassionate couple began to notice the many people living under the bridges in the city. Promising a meal the following Saturday, spreading the word and collecting donations, a meal was served the next weekend and for several weeks to come. As cold weather set in the church opened its doors and set up tables in the lobby. Feed TC was born.

The church those people attended also had a very small pantry located on the lower floor of the building where those in need could obtain food items. As the need for food increased for the dinners and pantry the church began purchasing items from Feeding America and connected with the NW Food Coalition to help supply the needs. The pantry moved to the main floor and increased to two rooms.

As the pantry and dinners continued to grow there were many additional donations from the community and private donations. Today, Christ Church, through FEED TC, serves about 1,600 guests yearly at the Saturday evening community meal held at 5:30 pm each week. The pantry is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am to 1pm and serves 8,500 guests yearly, and the need is growing. All in need of assistance are welcomed.
